Energy planning for an eco-city based on a distributed energy network

Abstract Background In China, traditional energy planning is subordinate to city planning, with a primary purpose of meeting the demand in urban areas by and designing an system. However, most current China pertains low-efficient system proves be unfriendly environment, which no longer appropriate for future development modern industrial parks cities. Methods A combined cooling, heating, gas power network distributed cogeneration units renewable sources provides effective solution related problems. this paper, new method Eco-City proposed, based on Distributed Energy Network (DEN) The designed four-stage integration mode implemented, includes prediction demand, optimization utilization, matching supply recovery side. Based DEN, technical economic analysis draw reasonable results. Results As implemented practical case Sino-German Eco-Park, procedure proposed comprehensively explained. Finally, reviewing design operation, state problems Eco-Park are described. Conclusions Eco-Parks developed as result thorough process, integrates together solutions high-level cities parks. integrated model guideline entire process its detailed steps. Relevant experiences lessons from significance supporting similar projects future.
